2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
The data is processed on the basis of legal requirements in order to fulfill the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations. For this purpose we process your personal data: in addition to data such as name, e-mail address, home address, date of birth or telephone number, in particular your health data. This includes anamnesis, diagnoses, therapy suggestions and findings that we or other doctors collect. For these purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists who are treating you can also provide us with data (e.g. in doctor's letters). The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your successful treatment.
3. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR DATA
We only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent. Recipients of your personal data can be primarily other doctors / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of health insurance, medical associations and private medical clearing houses as well as the operator of our online appointment booking. For the storage of your data by the provider of the online appointment booking software, see also point 4. The transmission takes place mainly for the purpose of billing the services provided by you, to clarify medical questions and questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data is transmitted to other authorized recipients.
If you contact us by e-mail, we store your e-mail address and other data that you may have given us in your message in order to answer your request. As soon as we no longer need this data to process your request, we will delete it immediately, unless we are legally obliged to store it. We do not send medical data by e-mail for data protection reasons.
4. STORAGE OF YOUR DATA
We only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the treatment. Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after completion of the treatment. Other regulations may result in longer retention periods, for example 30 years for X-ray recordings/treatments.
The software for making appointments online collects your personal contact data, insofar as this is necessary for making an appointment and, if necessary, postponing or canceling an appointment. This is third-party software from the company DGN (German Health Network) with its own data protection declaration. For the purely informational use of our website, it is not necessary for you to enter personal data. We only collect and use the data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us. This is typically the following information:

• the amount of data transferred and the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)

This data is stored separately from your other data that you may enter yourself. There is no link with such data. The data is only evaluated for statistical purposes in order to be able to continuously improve our offer. After the evaluation, the data will be deleted.

The electronic patient files in our area of responsibility have no connection to the online media and online communication processes mentioned here. We only send excerpts from your findings or from the patient documentation on request in individual cases by you as the patient personally and to you personally or a doctor named by you.
If you request findings, photos or other patient data yourself or send them to us yourself, you should note that this data is usually transmitted unencrypted by providers, Internet services or mail programs. In this respect, you must decide before the transmission whether the expected degree of confidentiality of the transmission is sufficient for you or not.
